My friends Booked this place over a month ago , could pick times so wasn’t full , it’s my husbands 70 th birthday, we used to visit this place many times back in the past loved it so it was going to be special for us , we arrive from the uk on 10 th April so booked for 11 th , yesterday 3 rd April my friends got an email saying we would be seated in the bar area , I could quite understand that if this booking was last minute , we sent email back explaining the situation and we would like to cancel , we also asked for confirmation of cancellation which we have just received 4 th April , no explanation attached, totally disgusted with tavern on the green , so glad we have wonderful memories of times gone by as we will never go again

My family and I had an amazing experience! The atmosphere, service and, food were all phenomenal! Our waitress, Ariana was very pleasant and personable. Will definitely go again next time we're in the city!

Our server Tony was amazing and his suggestions were perfect! Definitely recommend, 10/10!!

We popped in for a beer in the sun after a walk through Central Park and got a spot at the outdoor bar. The bartender was super friendly, the atmosphere was lovely, and we ended up staying for a late lunch and a couple of hours. Great food and a really enjoyable experience.
